SEND SUPPORT

Individual Support for Every Learner

Fast Forward School supports young people aged 15 to 19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. The school provides a safe, structured and nurturing environment where learners can access education in a way that reflects their individual needs, strengths and goals.

Who We Support

Fast Forward works with learners who have Education, Health and Care Plans, including young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, speech, language and communication needs, and other additional needs that may affect learning, behaviour and wellbeing.

How We Support Learners

Support at Fast Forward is tailored to the individual. This may include small-group teaching, one-to-one support, targeted interventions, adapted teaching strategies, emotional wellbeing support and personalised planning to help each learner engage with education and make progress.

Specialist Support and Review

The school works closely with families, local authorities and external professionals to make sure learners receive the right support. This includes regular review of EHCP outcomes, progress monitoring and access to specialist advice where needed.

Working with Parents and Carers

Fast Forward values strong relationships with parents and carers. Regular communication and review meetings help make sure support is effective, joined up and focused on the young person’s progress and future goals.
